There were several returning artists and a few inspiring new ones. This year we exhibited paintings, poetry, collage, multi-media installation and film.
I showed some new work, what I call Abri Collage:
I love the spontaneous, playful weaving of image, colour, pattern, texture, story and words. It feels expansive and freeing. Framing the collages within this old window reflected the feeling of safety and nourishment I experience in the act of creating. As I explore the worlds inside and around me, through this meditative, intuitive process, I feel held and cared for.
The audience once again loved the diversity and strength of our creative voices
We are now gearing up for our fifth show, coming in the fall of 2017. Stay Tuned…
